Testimonials
Laura - We just wanted to thank you for the initial training and techniques you gave us to work with our 6-month old Terrier, Maggie. We have seen some great improvement in the visits we've had with you, and our worries are lessening every day, about whether or not the house, screens, doors, etc. will all be in one piece when we come home from work. Your insight as to her temperament and behavior tendencies have helped us realize how to not only deal with a Terrier breed, but her specific personality as well. I'm sure we'll have more sessions in the future, as we fine tune other behaviors when they present themselves. Again, thank you!

Working with Laura has been like sending our husky/retriever puppy to finishing school. Her training and problem-solving techniques helped us navigate the usual growing pains with confidence, and she's been there to offer practical advice whenever a new phase of Klondike's development made us wonder, "Where did THAT come from??" The only drawback has been having to find a new excuse for extending a work deadline -- I can no longer say, "The dog ate my first draft."

"Laura is not so much a dog trainer as a miracle worker. In record time, our three "hopeless" dogs were putty in her hands. From curbing excessive barking to teaching our nervous and jittery rescue dog how to use the stairs, no job was too big or too small. I don't so much recommend her as wonder how anyone could get along without her."

"I train animals in the entertainment industry and am often asked about private training. I always refer them to Laura because she is knowledgeable, experienced, and talented. I truly believe in her method and approach and know that the dogs I send to her will be in good hands. I myself often seek her advice for dogs I rescue from shelters that have behavioral issues."

Laura, Tucker and I appreciate and thank you for all your help. I'm really beginning to see a difference in his wild ways!

When we brought home our beautiful Boxer puppy Roxy, we knew she was going to be well trained. We thought it would be so easy to do it ourselves. We read a lot of books and tried working with her on our own. What a mistake! We just got frustrated. We decided it was time to work with a dog trainer. We tried a couple and we didn't see any results. We thought at this point it was hopeless. A friend recommended we should meet Laura. We did and we couldn't believe the immediate results we saw with Roxy. We were so happy with the techniques Laura uses when she is training. We think she is a miracle worker. Roxy is so well trained today we know this wouldn't be possible if we didn't work with Laura. Laura is the best and we are so lucky to have met her.

We were very lucky to have found Laura! We needed more help and guidance to deal with our dog's aggression and she showed us simple and effective ways to do this. We were amazed at how fast some of the techniques worked!! Laura not only helped us turn our pet into a more enjoyable dog, she reduced our frustration and anxiety, both of which mean a lot to us!!! Thanks, Laura!!"

When we decided we would get 2 Scotty puppies, both female and sisters, we had no idea what was in store for us. We called Laura when they were 11 weeks old (we had had them 3 weeks) and we still rely on her today (the puppies will be 2 on March 2, 2002). She has been able to help us train them but more importantly, she has been able to train us to manage them. Instead of 2 bossy, unruly, territorial terriers, we have 2 loving, playful, companionable dogs who are a joy to have and who get along beautifully with other dogs. We are frequently complimented on our dogs' wonderful behavior and demeanor.
